My vacation in Sharm El Sheikh was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had recently. I spent a week full of sunshine, relaxation, and adventure, and staying at Rixos Sharm El Sheikh turned it all into a real vacation story.
Sharm El Sheikh had been on my list for some time, and this year I decided it was the right time for a vacation on the Red Sea. I chose to stay at Rixos Sharm El Sheikh, a luxury all-inclusive hotel that promised relaxation, comfort, and top-notch service—and it truly exceeded my expectations.
The flight was short and comfortable, and once I arrived at my destination, the first thing that impressed me was the color of the water and the spectacular landscape between the sea and the mountains. The transfer to the hotel was quick, and the check-in was extremely friendly.
My room was spacious, modernly decorated, with a balcony and a view of the sea. The impeccable cleanliness, well-stocked minibar, and attention to detail made me feel like I was on vacation right away.
The Rixos resort has everything you could want – numerous swimming pools, a private beach with fine sand, daily parties in the afternoon and evening, themed bars, and several gourmet restaurants where I could sample international cuisines.
One of my favorite moments of the vacation was the ATV trip through the desert. Right from the start, I felt the adrenaline rush—the speed and the feeling of freedom among the dunes. We traveled in a group, guided by locals who knew the route perfectly and took us to a small Bedouin village.
I had the opportunity to drink traditional tea, see how the locals live, and enjoy the peace and beauty of the desert.
The ATV trip perfectly complemented my vacation, adding adventure and memorable moments that I will not soon forget.
In addition to the fine sandy beach and desert adventure, we also had an unforgettable surprise: a live concert with Enrique Iglesias right at the resort. That evening brought incredible energy, good music, and a festival atmosphere on the shores of the Red Sea—an unexpected bonus that made my vacation truly special.
May Day party with DJ Tujamo
In addition to live concerts, Rixos knows how to turn a vacation into a true festival experience. I was lucky enough to catch the May Day party, where the atmosphere was electric. The special guest was international DJ Tujamo, who got the whole resort on its feet with an energetic set.
Because I like to discover the authentic side of the places I travel to, I chose to visit the Old Market, one of the city’s traditional areas.
The atmosphere is completely different from the resort: lively streets, colorful stalls, the smell of spices, souvenir shops, jewelry, and handicrafts. It is the perfect place to feel the local vibe and haggle over prices in a real oriental bazaar.
One central point that caught my attention was the Al Sahaba Mosque, imposing and beautifully lit at night. Its architecture is impressive and worth visiting, even if only for spectacular photos.
The visit to the Old Market was a different, more authentic experience, which perfectly complemented the luxury and tranquility of the Rixos. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’ve stepped into the heart of Egypt.
Farsha Café –the most beautiful café in Sharm
Another place that has remained in my heart is Farsha Café, probably the most famous café in Sharm El Sheikh. It is located on the cliffs, with a direct view of the sea, and has a spectacular oriental decor: colorful cushions, soft lighting, traditional objects, and a relaxed, fairy-tale atmosphere.
It is the ideal place to enjoy a moment of peace after a busy day, but also to capture the most Instagrammable moments of your vacation. If you visit Sharm, I highly recommend you don’t miss this experience.
My vacation in Sharm El Sheikh was much more than just a getaway in the sun. It was a perfect combination of the refined luxury of the Rixos resort, superlative entertainment with international artists, adventure in the desert, and discovering the authentic side of Egypt.
I came for relaxation and the sea, but I left with memories that combine culture, music, adrenaline, and the tranquility of unique moments. Sharm El Sheikh surprised me in the most pleasant way, and I can safely say that it is a destination I would return to anytime.
